ABOUT US
The Rio Railmen are a team composed of local ball players who seek to play ball beyond their high school seasons and into adulthood. We welcome individuals who have an interest in competing and displaying good sportsmanship as we promote a family fun environment.
Rio, Wisconsin has had a home talent team every year since 1946. They are in the Eastern Section of the Home Talent League, which includes the following teams:
Columbus | Cottage Grove | DeForest | Monona | Montello | Portage | Poynette | Sun Prairie.
The Railmen play at Fireman's Park, located near the high school.
Field/Park amenities include a concession stand, bathrooms, and a children's playground.

Steve Plenty// Manager
Steve Plenty has been affiliated with the Rio Railmen for over 25 years. He assumed the managerial position in 1996. Steve enjoys seeing first-hand, the development of his players throughout their time with the Rio Railmen. His wife & 3 daughters enjoy coming to games and supporting the team each season.
